COMBINED NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND NOTICE OF HEARING
TO:All persons interested in the Estate of Ray Gene Brown, deceased.
You are hereby notified that on the 1st day of April, 2026, the Petitioner, Jared Brown, filed in the District Court of Payne County a Petition for Summary Administration Pursuant to 58 O.S. §245, Appointment of Special Administrator, Determination of Heirs, Waiver of Itemized Final Accounting and Distribution of Estate (hereafter “Petitionâ€Â).
Due search and inquiry have been made to ascertain if Decedent left a Will, but none has been found, and according to the knowledge, belief and information of Petitioner said Decedent died intestate.
Petitioner has alleged that Ray Gene Brown, deceased, died intestate on the 13th day of December, 2025, while domiciled in, and residing in the City of Glencoe, County of Payne, State of Oklahoma, and that the total value of Decedent?s Estate is $150,000.00. Petitioner has asked the Court for summary proceedings pursuant to 58 O.S. §§245, et seq.
In an Order for Summary Administration and for Combined Notice the Court found that it should dispense with the regular estate proceedings prescribed by law and order notice to creditors and issue an order for hearing upon the Petition.
Pursuant to the Order for Combined Notice, all creditors having claims against Ray Gene Brown, deceased, are required to present the same with a description of all security interests and other collateral, if any, held by each creditor with respect to such claim, to Jared Brown, Special Administrator, at the law office of Bret A. Glenn, Attorney at Law, 701 Cedar Lake Blvd Ste 310, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73114, addressed to Bret A. Glenn, attorney for the Special Administrator, no later than the 10th day of April, 2026, or such claim will be forever barred.
Notice is also hereby given that a hearing will be held on the 21st day of May, 2026, at 9:00 o?clock a.m., in the Payne County Courthouse, 606 S. Husband Street, Stillwater, OK 74074. At the hearing the Court will decide whether to approve the Petition.
You are hereby advised that you, the person receiving this notice, or anyone else interested, may file objections to the Petition at any time before the final hearing and send a copy to the Petitioner in care of his attorney, Bret A. Glenn, Attorney at Law, 701 Cedar Lake Blvd Ste 310, Oklahoma City, OK 73114, or you will be deemed to have waived any objections. If you have no objections, you need not appear at the hearing or make any filings with the Court.
If an objection is filed before the hearing, the Court will determine at the hearing whether summary proceedings are appropriate and, if so, whether the Estate will be distributed and to whom the Estate will be distributed.
