(Published in the Stillwater News Press on October 22, 29, 2024 2t) 2024 Yale City Hall Municipal Building Construction, Reconstruction, Remodel And Repair Project ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SEALED BIDS for the construction, reconstruction, remodel and repair of the City Hall Municipal Building for the City of Yale, Oklahoma will be received by the Yale Water & Sewer Trust, 209 N. Main Street, Yale, Oklahoma, 74085 until 3:00 P.M. on November 15, 2024. The bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on Friday November 15, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Yale City Hall, 209 N. Main Street, Yale, Oklahoma. The outside of the bid envelopes must be clearly marked with the name of the bidder and the words “2024 City Hall Municipal Building Construction, Reconstruction, Remodel and Repair Project Bid.” All bids must include assurances that the following provisions will be complied with: 1. Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974, as amended, 13 U.S.C. 1701, which requires that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment be given to lower income residents of the project area and contracts for work in substantial part by persons residing in the area of the project. 2. Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, which assures that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination. 3. Certification of non-Segregated facilities, which assures that the bidder does not maintain or provide segregated facilities. 4. Assurances that surety companies executing bonds appear on the Treasury Department list and are authorized to transact business in the State where the project is located. Bidders may present sealed bids to the Clerk before 3:00 P.M. November 15, 2024. The Yale Water & Sewer Trust reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
