PUBLIC NOTICE OF 45-DAY REVIEW AND COMMENT PERIOD
Proposed Revisions to the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan
The Stillwater Housing Authority (SHA) hereby provides notice that it has prepared proposed revisions to its Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan.
The proposed revisions are being made to ensure compliance with current U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations and guidance, including implementation of applicable provisions of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA), updates to HUD program requirements, and revisions to local policies and administrative procedures.
The proposed policies will be available for public review and comment for a period of 45 days, beginning July 20th 2026 and ending September 4th 2026
Copies of the proposed ACOP and HCV Administrative Plan may be reviewed during normal business hours at:

Written comments regarding the proposed revisions must be received by September 4th and may be submitted by mail, email, or delivered in person to the address above.
A public hearing will be held on September 9th at 10AM at the Stillwater Housing Authority Administrative Office, 807 S. Lowry Street, Stillwater, Oklahoma. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from residents, program participants, and members of the public before the Board of Commissioners considers adoption of the revised policies.
The Stillwater Housing Authority does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or familial status. Individuals requiring a reasonable accommodation to participate in the review process or public hearing should contact the Housing Authority at least 48 hours in advance.
