(Published in the Stillwater News Press on October 31, November 2, 2024 2t) NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is given that the Stillwater Public Schools Independent School District No. 16 of Payne County Oklahoma , herein after called the “Stillwater Public Schools” will receive sealed bids at the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Building Office, 314 South Lewis Street, Stillwater Oklahoma until 2:00pm, Thursday, November 21st, 2024 for the following projects: SPS SANGRE RIDGE ELEMENTARY ROOF REPLACEMENT AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENTS 2500 SOUTH SANGRE RIDGE ROAD STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA 74074 SPS MIDDLE SCHOOL ROOF REPLACEMENT AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENTS 2200 SOUTH SANGRE RIDGE ROAD STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA 74074 SPS HIGH SCHOOL PAC AND FIELD HOUSE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENTS 1224 NORTH HUSBAND STREET STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA 74075 The Work consists of demolition, TPO roof systems, metal coping and mechanical equipment. Bids filed with the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Office shall be opened publicly and read aloud in the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Building Boardroom, 314 South Lewis Street, Stillwater Oklahoma at the time stated above or later. Stillwater Public Schools shall consider all bids prior to the award of the contract. The Stillwater Board of Education may consider award of the bid at the December Stillwater Public Schools Board Meeting. Bidding documents will also be on file at the following bid rooms during the bidding period: Dodge Plan Room iSqFT Southwest Construction News PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE ACCESS The bidder shall attend the mandatory pre-bid conference at 9:30AM on Wednesday, November 06, 2024 at the library located within SPS Sangre Ridge Elementary located at 2500 South Sangre Ridge Road. Attendance is mandatory for General Contractors in order to be qualified to submit a bid. Access to the other buildings will be available at the meeting. All sites are available to interested bidders up to and including Wednesday, November 13th. Contact Rob Lamecker, SPS Director of Facilities at (405) 338- 1048 to coordinate visit to the site. REQUEST FOR SUBSTITUTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR INTERPRETATIONS (RFI’S) Requests for Substitutions and Requests for Interpretation (RFI’s) will be accepted in accordance with procedures described in Division 01, no exceptions. The last date for receipt of substitution requests and RFI’s is Monday, November 11, 2024 at noon. SPS SR ELEMENTARY & SPS MIDDLE SCHOOL ROOF REPLACEMENT AND HVAC IMPROVEMENTS SPS HS PAC AND FIELD HOUSE HVAC IMPROVEMENT Submit Requests for Substitution and Requests for Interpretation in written form only using the forms provided in Sections 01 2500 and 01 3100 respectively to Jeff Thomas, LEED AP at jt@505architects.com. Responses will be issued to bidding General Contractors via an Addendum. BID SUBMITTAL Bids must be sealed and must include “SPS SR, MS, PAC, & HS ROOF IMPROVEMENTS BID” on the bottom left-hand corner of the bid envelope and mailed or delivered to the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Office located at 314 South Lewis Street, Stillwater Oklahoma 74074. Bidders must include a return address on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. All bids shall be typewritten or in ink. All sealed bids will be publicly opened, recorded, and studied for recommendations to the Stillwater Board of Education. Bids received after the official stated time or more than ninety-six hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, before the official stated time set for the opening of bids, will not be accepted. No bids may be submitted, changed, or withdrawn after the time of the opening of the bids. Pursuant to Title 61 “Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act”. Stillwater Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities or irregularities in any bid, and to accept the bid or bids which seem most advantageous to the Stillwater Public Schools.
