(Published in the Stillwater News Press February 13, 21, 2018. 2t) SOLICITATION FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, will receive sealed bids, in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 723 South Lewis (P. O. Box 1449), Rm. 1112B, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74076, until 3:00 P.M., CDST, on Wednesday the 7th day of March 2018. Said bids will be opened at that time for: Re-mark Runway 17-35 and Connecting Taxiways City of Stillwater Project Stillwater Regional Airport Bid No. 10/17/18 Bids shall be made in accordance with the Bidding Documents, which include, but are not limited to the Information for Bidders, Plans, Specifications, Bidder's Proposal, and Contract Documents on file and available for examination at the Office of the Airport Manager in the Terminal at Stillwater Regional Airport, 2020-1 West Airport Road, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and are made a part of this notice as though fully set forth herein. Plans and specifications may be purchased for $100.00 from LBR, Inc., 1802 W Wright Drive, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74075, Email tylerm@lbrok.com ,Telephone 405/377-8276. Payment shall be by cash or check made payable to LBR, Inc. Plan purchases are non-refundable. Bids filed with the City Clerk shall be publicly opened and considered at the time stated above. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon. Bids filed in accordance with this solicitation shall be publicly opened and read aloud by the City Clerk at the date and time stated above. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The value of this project exceeds one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00). Copies of these provisions are on file with the City Clerk and at the office of LBR, Inc., and may be inspected by bidders during normal business hours. A cashier's check, a certified check, a surety bond or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The City of Stillwater reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all bids and to waive any and all informalities. Upon receipt of an acceptable bid, the contract will be awarded within one hundred twenty (120) days after opening of bids and the written contract executed within ten (10) days thereafter. There will be a pre-bid conference concerning this project at 2:00 PM, CDST, Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the Stillwater Airport Terminal, 2020-1 West Airport Road, Stillwater Regional Airport, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is MANDATORY. Bids will NOT be accepted from contractors who do NOT have a representative attending the Pre-Bid Conference. All bidders must visit and inspect the construction site and be familiar with the physical characteristics and conditions at the construction site.
